caLi bb is sick....after so long...this is the first time of this year she fell ill...br0ught her to see doctor this morning...gave her the first dosage of her medication...her runny nose seems much better already...thank goodness...

Today is daddy's birthday...my brother treated us for dinner & i bought a cake for him...hope he likes it...hmmm...wishing him be in pink of health always & happiness befall on him always...love him so much.... ("v")

Sometimes it's so hard to please everybody...I'm always in a dilemma...had a long conversation with MIL just now...There's always never a win-win situation for both..i just can't let go..Problems began to arise..I wish I could face it bravely But I just felt so helpless..I've seen his true colours...it's definitely not easy to please him...I really hope HE can give us the freedom to choose what we want....& not being forced psychologically...i really really felt breathless....

This time round..whole family went in to JB yesterday evening..decided to go in by the Tuas second link..though not many cars but still need to wait for half an hour before we got our passports stamped..

We went to Jusco Tebrau for shopping this morning..miUmiU always have the thought of buying Daddy a new watch..br0ught him in to City Chain and we chose a multi-purpose watch for him..told him a white lie that we're going to help a friend to buy the watch..asked him for his opinions..lol..in fact we are the one who did the choosing for him instead...=Ppp really hope he likes it.. =D miUmiU wanted to get another watch for Mommy but she declined...keke..

we shopped for at least 2 hours just now!!! miUmiU bought me a L'Occitane organic olive hand cream..tried & tested it..felt that it works wonder!!!..i could feel my hands moisturized in an instance..well..i've always had the intention of trying their products & today..i did..!! *dance*.. l0ves my miUz so muchies cos he loves my family too..hahaha..*wonders* what he's going to get for me this X'mas..??..probably nothing?..hahaha..anyway it's not that important cos as long as he's happy, that will be the best present ever.. ;))

caLi bb got this box of panda chocolate biscuits from the kitchen cabinet by herself and hugged it all the way to room and asked me to "开" for her..hahaha..she never fails to melt my heart... >.<

Been wondering what's so special about this brand of chocolate (for years)...passed by and decided to get a box of mild cacao..just realized that it was a product of Japan..well..call me country pumpkin or mountain tortoise...=.="...hmmm..i'm not actually a fan of chocolate either..it was bitter on the first layer..overall it's not so sweet & it melts smoothly in my mouth...yum yum...afterall it's worth the money...even caLi bb finished up the sample milk chocolate given by the salesgirl..*chuckles*..anyway,she's a glutton..!!! =XX

Mil was in a good mood so decided to go Takashimaya for a shopping spree-for caLi bb..=)) she bought a pair of Clarks shoes, a set of Peony clothes,shirt dress from Ralph Lauren & a pair of Hello Kitty spoon & fork..Taka is having sales this season i supposed??....Mil wanted to eat at ION so we walked all the way there...spent almost $50 at the food court for our lunch...tsk tsk..might as well eat at restaurant...=/ shall end here...nights all...=))

Family Outing

B0th families met up for steamboat at Beach Road before going to Orchard to view & enjoy the atmosphere of Christmas...felt that the lightings & decor this year was kinda so-so only..not as attractive as before..anyway..what matters most was caLi bb enjoying every single m0ment...parked our vehicles at takashimaya & walked all the way to ION..the whole stretch of Orchard was so packed & we couldn't feel any breeze at all..poor boy & miUmiU was perspiring all the way..lol..in fact our main purpose that night was to make a donation for the "We are One"(LEGO) event..caLi bb is our representative..she gave the m0ney to the in-charge & placed the Lego bricks clumsily.. =D ..h0pe that the donations will be able to help the needy.. tomorrow m0mmie & daddy will be going to Thailand for a holiday together with my relatives.. =(( gonna miss them so much this few days & i can bet that caLi bb will miss them too...B0n v0yage my dear m0mmie & daddy..enjoy your trip and don't forget our gifts..hahaha...

Public Holiday

It's public holiday today..everywhere was full of cars & people..miUmiU was experiencing aching in his gums so we went to smile clinique at Railway mall...waited for about 45 minutes for him...total consultation with cleaning cost $95..(included a mouthrinse, 2 toothbrush & floss)..i felt that it was worth the m0ney as it solved miUmiU's gum problem..=D Planned to go to expo for the SITEX fair but the carpark was freaking full..!!! Therefore we changed our plan & headed over to IKEA & GIANT Tampines..as usual..packed with loads of people..wanted to purchase the laminator but daddy offered to laminate my stuffs for me..didn't really want to trouble him but he insisted..lol..it's worth to buy as it costs about $60..hmmm..think i will still get it someday...wahaha..=X Drove over to IKEA & carpark was kinda full too..managed to "chop" a lot just in time..br0ught a high chair(for woodlands), storage for caLi bb's toys & some art&craft stuffs for myself..fully sponsored by my beloved daddy..*super happy*kekeke..it suddenly rained heavily followed by thunder & lightning..the weather nowaday is really weird..=(( had our dinner at chinatown..l0ved the claypot rice & tom yam soup..we waited for about 1 hour for the claypot rice..the portion was so huge that all of us were trying very hard to finish it up..lol..after our dinner..we went to Loyang Tua Pek Kong for praying...it's been a while since we last went...was out for the whole day..caLi bb was as usual..cranky & cheeky..never failed to behave herself properly..she's very good at screaming at us..throwing her temper..lol..well..that's part of her growing stage i supposed..shall put my darling caLi bb to sleep now..blog again...muackz.. =DD

Wedding & Outing

Last minute decision to attend m0m & dad's friends' daughter wedding on saturday..the dinner was held at Civil Service Club..the f00d there was average =D..we left halfway through the dinner cos was rushing to JB that night..

miUmiU will be on leave from today onwards til next week i supposed..hahaha..was planning where to go for next week as my parents will be going Thailand for holiday..Daddy wanted to sponsor us but miUmiU still needed to attend his lessons so...we're not going..

This m0rning miUmiU brought us to old airport road for lor mee..the always-so-long-queue stall was not opened for business today so we b0ught ours at an0ther stall.. tasted not bad either..=DD.. headed over to marina barrage as i feel that the scenery there was great..spent almost half an hour there cos the weather today was so unbearably h0t..!!! l0ves to see the way she walks...she walks as if she was drunk..hahaha...

b0ught a pair of adidas sandals for caLi bb..purpose was to encourage her to get use to wearing shoes/slippers/sandals..she loves to remove them whenever she's sitting in the car..she never fails to stop keeping herself occupied.. =.=" she's a hyperactive toddler!!! cannot keep still at all...*headache* After some deep thoughts over the week...well..i would rather stay at home than bringing her out c0s i simply couldn't handle her all by myself now..hmmm..i feel so bad but...=((

A sudden urge to share with you my DIY wedding montage..Though is not very well done but i felt proud cos this montage was done by me, myself!!..kinda reminisced those days on our wedding preparations..It took us almost 2years to plan for that day....Sourcing for Bridal Studio, a year advance booking at Meritus Mandarin Orchard, my 四点金, 过大礼 etc..Spent years to prepare just for that important day of ours.. Well..It was all worthwhile cos it only happened once in our lifetime..hope my montage won't bore you.. >.<

Feel that all this while my naughty caLi bb has grown up & changed tremendously..she's learning to walk on her own..loves her "never give up" attitude..However there are times when she's super lazy..i was really amazed when she knows how to follow instructions such as telling her to keep her toys back into the box & the things she took out & putting them back on her own.. =D

Hopefully this month or next will bring her down to Orchard to see those christmas lightings..

13 Months Old

I was surprised to see her first molar while changing her diaper this morning!!! all along i've been anticipating for her cuspid to be grown instead of her molar..well..i've learnt something new again..keke..i was kinda relieved that she's not having any fever when her molar was grown..

Her progress so far..

~She knows how to say "怕怕", "不要","UP","他不在", "baby"..etc..

~Instead of shooking her head, she knows how to nod her head..sometimes to the beat of the music..

~She's trying her own ways to walk..

~She's getting very naughty & bad-tempered daily..

~She's a "mover"(always ransacking my room & misplacing my tv remote controls & open up the drawer & remove everything inside..)

~She stands up & dance to her favourite commercial & songs..

~She loves to tear & fold the pages her storybooks..

~She always call ah gong "爸爸 "..lol..

~She cannot be left alone in her highchair else she'll place her three fingers into her mouth & threw up everything she ate..(pissed!!!don't know where she learnt it from)

~She has kampong eggs for breakfast every morning(suggested by a nurse at polyclinic)..

~French Fries can simply brightened up her day/mood!!

~She loves animals(ie ducks,roosters,cats,dogs,birds)..especially dogs..it doesn't matter what size it is..

Another an hour plus is chyeling's 24th birthday..had a little celebration dinner with her yesterday at Thai Express-Bugis, Iluma..wanted to bring her since the day miUmiU & i dined at Paragon..cos she love thai salad the most..feel so bad cos i did not get her any gifts..=((..after dinner we headed to Parco for photostickers session..took from 3 different machines..hope that ling will like the outcome of the photostickers & card..

I hereby wish chyeling babe a Happie Birthday!!!..may all your wishes come true & all the best for your future endeavours..

This is the first year i celebrated her birthday with her..may we have endless of celebrations together always..= D

~I found this snake at the basin cabinet while taking a a toilet roll....was so petrified that i screamed & jumped like a mad woman..Max hit it with a broom stick & guessed it bled to death..it still gives me goosebumps when i thought of it.. >.<

The summary of my trip began on...

~slept for only 2 hours that day & woke up at 4am

~carmen dear bought tidbits & blueberry cheesecake for me & caLi bb..so sweet of her..=))

~Thai Style steamboat buffet @ 139 Baht per pax which consists of desserts, salads,ala carte, seafood etc..super worth the money..
!!Beware of mozzies!!

~Getting ready to market in the city(viang)..
~Cousin Max(Preecha)drove us out to the main road to flag for mini bus ride..

~Super hot & sunny Monday
~Bought a bb carrier @ 400 Baht(expensive right & only used once!!)
~m0mmie & ah yi was helping uncle to prepare the necessities for the monk ceremony
~the pork noodle soup was fantastic..soup was red cos i added spoonfuls of chilli powder..*drools*

~Back home, caLi bb was exploring the sofa by climbing up & down..lol

~Daddy bought caLi bb a tricycle @ Carrefour for 1550 Baht

~weather at ChiangMai is so freaking hot!!not even a breeze..
~had a dessert(similar to chendol) & cucumber salad...
~caLi bb having fun playing with her new friends..

Finally another outing with my beloved(s) & their princesses mainly baobei Angeline, dearest Kiki & dear Carmen...I was unable to attend dearest's little apple's 1st birthday this coming sunday as i'll be leaving singapore & will be away till 17th October...so both angeline & I decided to share and buy a built-a-bear for kiki's little apple..was wondering if dearest was suspecting anything fishy when we kept asking for her opinions..hahaha..3 of our girls had e same bears too...oh yar!! almost forgot, wanna thanks baobei for buying the Hello kitty's pacifier clip for caLi bb..*Thank you ba0bei*.. =D

Our Wedding Anniversary....

No romantic dinner & gifts but just a day of shopping at Vivo City & Paragon..i'm truely contented..really..can you imagine both of us were thinking of caLi bb at the same time when we're out(just 1 day)without her??..haha..yes we did..we went to this build-a-bear workshop to customize a bear for caLi bb..i think we spent at least an hour there..kinda like the overall design..keke..there's also a birth certificate for the bear...it was born on our wedding anniversary & we named her caLi bear..lol..well..i'm kinda sucks at giving names for "non-living" things..wahaha..the price is very affordable..=DD

Met up with Angeline & lil' Estella yesterday noon at Funan..accompanied her to send her modem for servicing..both of us chatted so heartily as if we've known each other for a long time..lol =PPpppp..B0th caLi bb & estella were sleeping soundly while we're having our lunch at Pastamania(Angeline's favourite)..haha..walked all the way to suntec for a little shopping...gosh..suntec is soOooo quiet...having sales at almost every shop..took a few pictures only but sad to say b0th Angeline & I did not have the chance to take together cos our babies were very cranky & cheeky yesterday..lol..was dead beat carrying caLi bb around & was having a hard time trying to put her back to her stroller...=(((

..it's really great to know both of them..truly enjoyed my day though it was freaking hot & hazy....=))

Pre Birthday Celebration for caLista

caLi bb wasn't in a g00d m00d this m0rning probably due to lack of sleep..had to bathe & dressed her up earlier cos Boi needed to report work at 12noon..

while on our way to fetch my parents & boi..there was these 3 idiotics "dark-skinned tone"(think i don't need to elaborate on the race of these human-beings) people PURPOSELY crossed the road when the RED man was for them to STOP crossing the road..!!! guess what??..one of the OBESE guy stood in the middle of the road & pointed us his middle finger!!!!!!!! what the hell was that for???... well..did the same back to them..Probably he's sick in the brain or whatever...it was totally wrong to cross the road when it's RED isn't it??..i will definitely NOT pity those guys if ever one day they were knocked down by some vehicles..(please bear with me cos i need to rant it out..)
CTE was so freaking congested this morning..all thanks to the workers cutting & trimming the trees & lane 1 was blocked!!..arghhh..what a day to begin with..

Back on track..reached Yan Palace at about 1020hrs..l0ves the mini egg tarts the most..it's the best compared to a few restaurants i've been to..anyway it's still individual preference..=))...caLi bb as usual..cannot sit still at all..always fidgeting, throwing things on the floor & screaming..ONLY food can tame her for awhile..Everything was kinda rush but luckily i still managed to take some pictures..*happy*..hmmm...let the pictures conclude the remaining part of my blog..

Did not plan to hold a birthday bash for caLi bb except Dim Sum at Yan Palace this coming Sunday..On her actual birthday(Thursday) we'll bring her to a thai temple for blessing..finally decided on which cake to order...a million thanks to my plurk babes for their suggestions..

(just now asked caLi bb to choose her birthday cake & she pointed out the same as we suggested..keke)

We always have this tradition ever since miUmiU & i got hitched..didn't follow totally except a few reasonable ones..E.g. For baby's 1st birthday..b0th our parents are supposed to buy a set of clothings(shoes,socks & clothes etc..)...reasons??..well..don't bother to ask also.... =))

miUmiU drove his car in & we met his m0mmy at her house..smooth traffic that day..had our dinner at a Korean restaurant..service was superb but food wasn't to our liking..total cost around RM 180...reasonable??..lol..alright i guessed..shopped at Jusco for about 2 hours and did not buy anything for myself..seemed that this trip was much fulfilling for my miUmiU, caLi bb & my bro(who did not join us)...bought our supper back to PIL's house..caLi bb took a nap at around 2100hrs!!(slept at around 0100hrs!!)back at PIL's house...bathed her & she began to show her true colors again..climbed up & down the stairs..threw things all over the living room & screamed(happily) like she's having a party....wahaha..

Had our breakfast at i-dunno-the-name-of-the-place coffeeshop..it was so crowded & the hygience there was real bad..Thinking back really gives me goosebumps..

There's this auntie(sitting opposite our table) who was so pissed with her 2 sons, kept scolding them "idiot"(in chinese)LOUDLY..I was speechless...why would a mother scold/cursed her own children that way??..When you're pregnant, you're so freaking afraid that you might give birth to a retard or Down Syndrome baby RIGHT??.. so does that mean that after you gave birth to a normal baby you can cursed them to be an idiot??..I understand that kids are getting out of hand at times..I'm sure there are many ways to handle/tackle or teach them..I don't consider myself as a great m0mmie but i'm willing to learn..cos the more you scold or beat your kids, they will resent you..It's true..i've seen many kids doing that to their parents..

Simplified "Claypot" Rice

Let me share a simple recipe with you....Claypot Rice!!..miUmiU & caLi bb's all time favourite..

Ingredients needed :

3 Chicken Thighs(skin removed and cut into bite size pieces)

2 cups of Dried Mushrooms(soaked in water till it turns soft)

4 Chinese sausage(sliced,depends on how many you wish to add to your Claypot rice)

Rice,rinsed

5tbsp of oyster sauce

3 slices of ginger

1 tbsp of oil(depends on individual;in this case i used corn oil)

Seasoning:

1 tbsp of dark soya sauce

1 tsp of salt & MSG

Methods:

A. Mix the chicken thighs and soaked mushrooms together with the oyster sauce, marinate it & leave it for 10 minutes.

B. Stir fry the sliced chinese sausage till it turned crispy & removed it from the wok.

C. Stir fry (A) together with the sliced ginger till the chicken is cooked.

D. Add in the rice & stir well for 1 minute.

E. Remove them and put into your rice cooker, add water & seasonings as well

F. Cooked it for about 25 minutes

It is served best with sambal chilli...

P.S. In this case..i used rice cooker instead of claypot cos it's less hassle..=))..

Been rather lazy to blog again...plurk more instead..keke..it's getting hotter each day..scorching sun makes me dread to go out..think we'll get sunburn easily..life is as usual for me..babysitting & playing with caLi bb everyday..she knows how to say "milk milk" when she's hungry..

Weeks ago..in-laws bought a remote control car at Kiddy Palace for caLi bb to sit on..initially she seems enthusiastic towards her new toy...but now she dare not sit in her car due to the sound produced..actually both miUmiU & I already told his parents not to waste that money on the car cos my precious little one is very timid..even a laughter could scare her off..well anyway...it's been bought so no point telling them(cos they appeared sad when caLi bb doesn't want to sit in)..lol...

miUmiU & i woke up super early in the morning cos we were needed to help out for the 中元会....caLi bb was there too and many uncles & aunties enjoyed playing with her...some managed to carry her while others not..my cheeky baby..she prefers ladies cos more things(necklace..hair..etc..) to explore on them..guys on the other hand..only glasses...keke..after the rites..we needed burn all the joss papers..gosh...you cannot imagine that day's weather...simply HOT!!!..i could feel my skin burning...one of the aunties teased me,"Ah Lin ar..your face super red lei..." lol..explained to her that i seldom go out when it's so freaking sunny..haha...had the dinner function at night..MIL attended too even though she was sick..Rachel & Priscilla were present too except for Derek(3 of them are my childhood friends..)..had a heartily chat with them during the dinner..miUmiU, Daddy, My bRo & me eyed on this apple-lookalike(looks like orange also) for the coin storage(gosh..what should i call that besides coin storage?? =pPp)..4 of us felt love at first sight for that cos we felt that it resembled our little precious princess....lol..such a coincidence...i bid the price at $288 but m0mmy's friend was so bad that he purposely jack up the price..was pissed(but in a happy mood)...MIL ended the last bid at $408...but it was not for my caLi bb BUT FIL...lol..it doesn't matter cos we're the last bidder...keke..

miUmiU applied leave from 7 August till today to accompany caLi bb & me..so sweet of him...

miUmiU accompanied me back to woodlands on tuesday cos MIL had called Gain City to service our/their air-con..left caLi bb wit my dearest m0mmy..initially she rejected me cos she was afraid that caLi bb might create stunts on her stroller such as stucking her head out..standing up on her seat..etc...still..i managed to convince my m0mmy...lol..finally a few hours without my naughty baby..keke..had our lunch at Ajisen Ramen SSC..ordered a volcano ramen & fried white fish & soft shell crabs for him...Yummy...it's rather spicy as it was rated 4 or 5 chillies...erm..cant remembered correctly..miUmiU still bragged about it not being spicy at all...well..he gulped 3 glasses of ice water eagerly & i could see his eyes were teary...lol...

While waiting for our food to be served..me trying to imitate miUmiU's expression..keke..

On Wednesday m0rning..miUmiU brought m0mmy, me & caLi bb to east coast Tung Lok for Dim Sum...we were the first customers..we wanted to try the buffet Dim Sum but minimum requirement must be at least 4 pax...thanks to my beloved boi for not joining us cos he would rather sleep till he happy...such a waste...$19.80++ per pax..cheap right...brought along caLi bb's tricycle so that she can enjoyed the beach scenery...strolled awhile cos it was freaking hot & sunny!!!...everyone was perspiring like mad...decided to call it a day...lol..sent m0mmy & caLi bb back to yishun as they always nap in the noon..miUmiU & i went to Angie the Choice at Sun Plaza to view the cake for caLi bb's birthday..The designs were not appealing but all of us prefer the durian flavour there...still need to consider again..shall source again...was just casually telling miUmiU that I wanted a Gucci handphone strap for my upcoming new iPhone...without second thought..he drove me to Paragon..was eyeing a sling bag but it was out of stock-islandwide...sianz 1/2...i was still hesitating on buying and started to walk around the boutique & didn't realize that miUmiU already told the salesperson to take out a new one for me...kekeke..miUmiU said that it was an advance wedding anniversary present for me...well...whatever...no present i'm okie too...as long as he's always by my side..i will be contented..=Ppp

On Thursday morning...m0mmy treated us movie & popcorns...keke..watched Jack Neo's first "horror" film..well..i'm quite supportive to sgp's m0vie maker..to me i feel that it's quite hilarious...and certain part of the movie simply freaks me out..individual preference...lol..

met up with JoJo & Joshua for dinner at the east coast food center...the mee goreng was spicy & delicious..ordered quite alot..didn't manage to finish up all the food...it was the first time whereby the 3 of us finally managed to "squeeze" some time out for this meetup..enjoyed every single moment spent with them...3 of us sat on the beach & chatted heartily..b0th j0j0 & i were lucky enough to catch a glimpse of a blue "shooting star"(i guessed)..it's beautiful...miUmiU came to fetch me after meeting his friends..took a shower & lied down on my bed watching tv...decided to sleep but miUmiU was so enthusiastic about sharing his childhood stories with me..gosh...i didnt know that his childhood was so happening..lol..took off to my dreamland after listening to his stories..loves to listen to his voice...stories...etc...is like guys don't always talk much like we girls do right??...lol..

This morning...had our breakfast at Kovan Hub...had been longing for the Teochew noodles there for quite some time...also ordered a black carrot cake with chilli...let caLi bb tried a little & she was enjoying it too...did a little shopping at the Heartland mall & bought her a hairband & a tiara...as usual...put in on her head & in a split second..she removed it..that's my naughty princess..i just love her so much...

Short Getaway Trip

Went to Genting & KL last friday morning..1 night stay at Genting Resort Hotel & another night stay at KL's Mirama Hotel....this time went without boi & daddy...cos daddy's having meeting while boi's exams are around the corner..Therefore only drove PILs car...left miUmiU's 小姨子 at woodlands multi-storey carpark..We took 4 hours plus to reach Genting Highland cos it was having a minor traffic jam at KL...really enjoyed my stay at the Resort Hotel cos the room was very spick & span especially the toilet..did not really shopped around except for taking a family photosticker at the arcade...it cost 34ringgits!!..expensive right?..lol..i guess it's almost the same in sgp..probably few dollars different..at least everyone enjoyed the photo-taking session..still not yet scanned to my com..shall do that when i'm not lazy..keke..

Had Mac for our breakfast before heading down to KL...i must said that driving downhill simply 要我的命..was feeling so giddy & almost vomitted..wasted on a regular caramel ice blend..couldn't finish cos am still feeling very nauseous...hate that feeling...next time must take cable car down..lol..did not really spend much on shopping this time as everyone was totally exhausted after a Japanese buffet lunch at a 5-star hotel..forgot the name of the hotel..lol..

Started our journey at 1045hrs & reached JB at abt 1245hrs..fast right...you should know why...lol..caLi bb was fast asleep throughout the journey...luckily both customs were not congested..it was super duper smooth!!..however..it wasn't for those people going to JB...it was so packed & congested all the way from JB's custom to BKE..what the...lol...reached home at abt 2plus cos we're having our lunch at JB before heading back home..

Today is my third visit to the clinic..respiratory tract infection i supposed..hopefully this is the last time i visited the clinic..it sucks to be sick..think i've lost 2 kg..lol..blessing in disguise?...

Finally the missing tools are back..days ago..i couldn't changed my fonts & colors cos the tools were missing..lol..wonder where they went to...=P..It's been 4 days and i still have not recovered..hopefully is not that H1N1..*not so suay right*...Been rather moody for months cos can feel that my caLi bb has been rejecting me whenever she was with my MIL..she don't yearn for me..cried whenever i wana carry her from my MIL...very depressing..she's the first grandchild so definitely everyone dotes & pamper her ALOT...Everyone acts as the goody therefore me..the BAD one..i've no choice but to be the BAD one cos in future when she grows up..nobody is able to control her at all...Whenever she does silly things or throw temper, I will scold her..she will cry very pathetically...it breaks my heart too..but no choice...sometimes I was wondering if caLi bb really knows who her mother is?..I've read blogs & seen so many real life experience whereby the child is so sticky to their mother..NOT mine...upon seeing that..I often shed tears a few times...I know I shouldnt compare this or that..probably there's too many caregivers around till she doesnt know who her mommy is....There are alot of things which were kept in my heart...nobody to talk to...nobody understands how i feel...miUmiU will say i'm being over-sensitive & paranoid..haiz...whatever..so sick of life..sometimes I wish that I can be deaf to whatever things they said...Bad remarks..miUmiU will always side his parents by saying "They don't meant anything.."..if that's so..why comment in the first place?...sianz...

miUmiU's not working for 2 days..Planned to go JB on thursday to stock up some detergent, snacks & baby's stuffs...Left home at about 10plus in the morning..But miUmiU noticed that something was wrong with his car that he couldnt start the engine..first thought struck his mind was the battery was totally flat..he was rather unfortunate as there weren't many cars around in the carpark & majority of his friends were working on that day...2 different garang guni tried their best to help with their pick-ups namely ISUZU & NISSAN(cos the 2nd uncle said that his NISSAN is better than ISUZU),but the voltage still remained as 7.8..miUmiU was getting distress & asked me to jumpstart the car..I tried but there's no reaction from the car..lol..(btw..his car is manual)..an uncle came over to tell us that he saw the hazard lights was ON for the whole night till morning(all thanks to miUmiU's carelessness)...

He called his car workshop nearby(Sembawang) to have his car either towed or change to a new set of battery..Total charges were $200!!!.. =S

Finally another garang guni came over to our rescue..his pick-up was Toyota(this shows that Toyota is much more better than the above mentioned..keke)..miUmiU's able to start his car..really appreciate the 4 uncles for willing to lend a helping hand..a BIG THANK-YOU for your kindness..=D..

miUmiU drove his "battery-anytime-going-to-flat" car to Sembawang...luckily we managed to reach there safely..lol..After all the changing of battery was done..we headed to JB..sm00th traffic..no jams at the custom..BUT the weather there was fugly HOT...scorching burning HOT sun...everyone was perspiring as if we're just out of the sauna..imagine we're just a bridge apart and the weather was so different..even caLi bb's cheeks were blushing...ouch...lol..i'm not exaggerating..it's really a fact..=Pp

naughty caLi bb is 10 months old today...2 more months & she will be turning one..miUmiU & I planned to bring her Thailand to celebrate her birthday..But it's unsafe now to travel..probably will drive to KL with both of our families and have a little celebration for caLi bb..Thailand will still be my first choice IF it's safe to travel over..missed my relatives there..it's been so long since i last visited them..i'm still sourcing for a birthday cake for her..definitely will plan a big party for her when she has her own friends in future..=D

..CaLi bb is currently 9 Months 3 weeks 6 Days Old..

Her Progress so far:

~She knows how to wave byebye...

~ She's able to stand without support for 5 seconds...

~She understood what we are trying to tell or teach her...

~She knows how to greet "gonggong"...

~She knows who are the people in the photograph by pointing her finger onto that person...

~She loves to pray in the japanese way i.e. by clapping her hands 3 times...lol..

~She's not afraid of coldness of the tap water therefore occasionally will shower her with tap water in the late morning...

~She prefers food over milk...can't finish 200ml...reduced to 150ml for her(sometimes stil cannot finish)...

~Gets jealous whenever m0mmy or me carry another baby...

~Getting more mischevious by breaking her GongGong's "antique" twice & climbing up on the sofa...

~She will sit & watch exceptionally still and quiet when there's a 2 minutes commercial...

i've been really preoccupied with my 2 & half day investment course held at York Hotel since saturday..the duration for the first 2 days were 8 hours respectively, beginning at 0900hrs & ended at 1700hrs..another 3 hrs in the evening on Monday..enjoyed every moment of it...at least i know how to manage my money well..=Ppp...Though my course ended BUT now is the beginning of a new start..shall revised more by Following The Rules..keke~

This morning i just noticed that caLi bb's growing another 2 upper central incisors which added up to a total number of 6 teeth(4 in the upper & 2 at the lower)..I tried letting caLi bb to stand on her own without any support...guess what??..she could actually stood up straight for a mere 5 seconds..sorry no pics cos i wasn't prepared..lol..this is a g00d progression i supposed..hmmm..=))

br0ught caLi bb last saturday evening to Sembawang to view fireworks as it was the states' independence day..it was astounding!!..managed to video the 15 minutes of fireworks..caLi bb was enjoying and cheering at the same time..clapping her hands too..shall upload the video if i have the time.. =D

cALi bb's mouth was full of blood due to her carelessness..she accidentally bumped her face on the floor..initially i thought she wanted me to carry her by weeping wildly...I was washing the dishes therefore ignored her feignings(which she's simply PRO at it)..Just when she was trying to pull out the stroller..my heart was shattered!!..her m0uth was full of blood(i know it sounded dramatic but who will still take pictures of that during that situation??..I DON'T)...I was petrified & shaken..washed my hands & ran towards her..used tap water to clean & stop her wound..guess what?..she's enjoying the taste of her blood..*rolled eyes*..Though it was a small cut but the bleeding condition was rather horrendous..also used a cloth to stop her bleeding for at least 5 minutes..still have not break the news to miUmiU..will definitely let him know how naughty is her beloved "idol"..kekeke..

MIL was free on saturday therefore miUmiU bought us & m0mmy to IMM for stocking up caLi bb's mik powder & baby snacks for her...did not bring her stroller along that day so miUmiU decided to rent a pram...it fits her exactly & she was "driving" excitedly..definitely fastening a seat belt is a must..AND it was a waist belt..MIL was pushing the pram & m0mmy was beside caLi bb..Unfortunately..b0th m0mmies did not take any notice of her standing up...she fell off the pram suddenly & m0mmy almost fell in the midst of catching her & MIL accidentally rammed over caLi bb's left temple...p00r baby..luckily it wasn't serious except abit of redness..holly molly...i wasn't at the vicinity cos miUmiU & I were sourcing for her milk powder...
my baby is sooooooo prone to accident...haiz......tell me what should I do to prevent all this mishaps?...really breaks my heart to see her injured...arghhh....

As usual..celebrated at Yan Palace with both families..caLi bb was enjoying her bowl of shredded chicken porridge..finished up everything..she's such a glutton..always ask for "mum mum"/food...lol..

Headed to IKEA after Dim Sum and bought a few photo frames..paid by Daddy..keke..he also puchased a RED dining chair for caLi bb...it was totally similar as the restaurant's..just that it's red in color..Daddy's simply pro at assembling those DIY stuffs...keke..unlike me...will take hours to assemble them...

No photos taken for today's post cos camera was left alone at home...wahahaa..had alot to blog but...due to deprive of sleep these few days..had to thank my beloved caLi bb for"Karaoke-ING" madly in the middle of the night..well...going to bed now...ciaoz..=Pppp

Brought Cali bb to Yishun Polyclinic for the assessment of 9 months old...All the physical examinations done to her were absolutely normal..very responsive whenever Nurse Hidayah did tests on her..phewww....She weighed 8.74Kg now...Nurse Hidayah was really attentive and courteous..so thumbs Uuuup for her!!=D...Nurse Hidayah suggested caLi bb to eat more eggs DAILY especially yolks as it's good for her brain development..she also commented that caLi bb's well taken care of..=Ppp..

caLi bb was down with fever and abit of cough on tues afternoon..did not take any notice initially cos i thought it was due to the weather which causes her body to be warm..she began feeling moody..too young to express her pain i guessed..gave her paracetamol..temperature went down to normal..brought her to see doctor the following day..f0r g00dness sake..the doctor actually prescribed a cough syrup which was mainly suitable for adults..!!!!..stupid doctor..that cough syrup is way too strong for her to take...2 medicines cost me a $32.10 inclusive of GST.. =S...tsk tsk..it doesn't matter as long as Cali bb will recover...BUT NOPE......her temperature kept rising..!!!miUmiU decided to send her to KKH Childrens' 24hr clinic last night..doctor suspected it was a virus infection..took her urine test..test turned out negative..*hengz*..spent almost 4 hours there..alot of sick babies & toddlers..luckily she wasn't needed to admit..if not...haiz...

She's still feverish this morning..diarhhea twice and finally fever had subsided..what a relief...but..doctor said that she still need to continue her medicine for at least 3 days..she hates taking medicine..will struggle fiercely and angrily..i wasn't like that when i was young..i love medicine..lol..probably she has something in common with my brother..my brother will vomit all the medicine he ate when he was a baby/toddler too..will cried and struggled too..kekeke..

fret not cos she still can crawl,play,eat,poo-ed,screamed...don't really look like a sick baby...

Today's m0mmy's birthday & she's unable to celebrate with us this year..will be back by 10th June-evening's flight...FINALLY...really missed her so badly..especially her cooking..keke..did not have a proper meal for days...super lazy to go out due to the sunny weather...miUmiU ordered a durian flavour cake for m0mmy's birthday from Angie the Choice this morning..a little surprise for her..hope she likes it..=)..

caLi bb's been very clingy to me this few days...rejected miUmiU's cuddling & kept crying for me,"mummy"..awww...very heartwarming to hear her calling & yearning for me(yar i know i sound retard)....it's really great to be a mum..It's been a hectic since m0mmy went back to her hometown..I was left alone at home with caLi bb..had to manage all the housework..didn't have the time to chat with my friends online..it's fulfilling afterall..being a mum attending to various needs is not easy..But..i am elated..=D

~it was also my late grandma's birthday..missed her too..how i wished she was alive to share my happiness..

Sent m0mmy off to airport this morning as she's back to her hometown,chiangmai ..and will be back on the 10th..miss her so much..miss her naggings & nonsense..=Ppp
Supposedly joining her but due to the outbreak of swine flu...sooo...dropped off the idea..
Moreover caLi bb is still very young to travel on the plane..miUmiU was afraid caLi bb cannot take the flight pressure..=((

Went to Expo just now for the m0therhood exhibition on a last minute decision..ermm..probably i've all the things i wanted so to me it was rather boring..lol..spent about 15 minutes "touring" at hall 6A..headed over to hall 4(i think) for John Little mega sales..much more things for me to shop..keke..bought 6 packets of Ruffles at a price of $3.00 each!!! and a box of 10 falsies at $8.50...great buys!!!..keke..filled our tummies at Macau Express situated directly outside Hall 4..
Cali bb...as usual..enjoys yelling, kicking the table and throwing tantrums....*sigh*..just now she grabbed hold of the serviette,tear it ad put it in her m0uth again *_*..she shut her m0uth firmly till i need to force it open with my fingers..luckily she did not swallow..so naughty...b0oooo...

Cali bb is 8 months 2 weeks 4 days old today.. >.<

~[updated]she knows how to high 5 with us & says "Hiiii" in front of the mirror..keke..& she sleeps like a frog..
~[updated]she's having 3 little tooth now..2 on the lower jaw & 1 on the upper jaw..keke
~she's finally teething now(yar..i know it's abit slow for her)
~Bad tempered baby(screamed loudly when f00d is not given to her-fast; left her at home with grandparents)
~always try to stand up..in fact she cannot keep still so standing up with support will pleased this naughty princess..
~pretends to be a young adult cos she loves to snatch newspapers/magazines/catalogues from us..read the papers in a upside down manner happily...teared it up and put it in her mouth..chewed & swallowed..definitely without me noticing...haiyoh...
~crawled carelessly and knocked her precious forehead umpteen times...(my bad..merely turned my head & that just happened in a split second)
~sleeps late at night..will cry for about 2minutes before taking off to her lalaland..
~l0ves steering wheel..gets excited whenever she lay her hands on them..
~eats junk food..when food was not given to her..yelled till the face turned red..

Finally i am back...bl0gging..had been really busy and exhausted since friday..totally worn out..partially am lazy to blog too..sleeping is the most important for me right now..though is late now..still have to blog abit to keep "it" alive..=Ppp

M0mmy b0ught & prepared salmon plus veggies(not sure of the name) for caLi baby..Amazingly..she finished it up despite the smell..*happy*..nowadays her temper was not very ideal..threw temper at her grandparents..g0t angry & ignored both me & miUmiU for not bringing her out...g0d..she's so young..not even one years old..knew how to give attitude..=S

met up with j0shua on wednesday for his all-time favourite chicken rice & shopped awhile at the newly opened Northpoint...t00k us less than 10 minutes to complete "exploring" Northpoint..Nothing to shop..lol..b0ring..he walked me home cos he wanted to see caLi bb..she wasn't afraid of j0sh..enjoyed gnawing at his bag..licking his finger..climbing on his tummy..p00r j0sh..he's having a hard time carrying her..lol..=Ppp..

Met up wit chyeling today for a haircut at Kimage Northpoint....chopped off my fringe again...trimmed it..did treatment on our oily scalps...lol..b0th of us almost had the same haircut..it felt so much lighter after the haircut..thumbs up to Carol for assisting to our needs..excellent services..=))

tdy is the 14th day for feeling giddy..think my body is going haywire..did not eat for the whole day...not even a sip of water..somehow i managed to bathe caLi bb & fed her with milk...my whole body felt so heavy..handed caLi bb over to m0mmy when she reached home..slept for 4 hours...woke up and dizziness was gone..but head is aching..haiyoh..

m0mmy prepared bird nest for us yesterday..fed caLi bb..was so impressed that she actually finished up..her voice seemed much better..today m0mmy also brewed barley...surprisingly..not a drop was left...wahaha...g00d girl..

caLi bb always have this habit of screaming while she's shooping with us..it's so embarassing..=(..did not take any pictures cos left my hp at home..n0 m00d to take too..probably the world just won't stop spinning..haha...shall take more when i recovered..

Yeah...miUmiU's turning a year older today...going to hit the digit THREE..keke..was given a little surprise birthday cake last night by his 岳父&岳母...how sweet...=)..

Every year miUmiU will make a visit to a thai temple located at Lorong Ong Lye for his birthday blessing..it was rainy today..had our breakfast at Kovan market..headed home cos miUmiU needed to send his car for repairing..stupid bumper..miUmiU spent Part I birthday celebration for 4hours at car workshop..lol..

after finishing Part I..miUmiU drove us to JB to meet his parents for a dinner(ie Part II)rofl.....港一 restaurant..if i remembered correctly..had a hearty meal..what matter most is miUmiU enjoying his oyster feast..hahaa..he's so good today..ate only 2..keke..

it was really a simple birthday celebration..hopefully miUmiU l0ves the pouch i bought for him..=D..caLi bb lost her voice again...this girl simply consume very little of water...*sigh*.. have to think of a strategy to "trick" her to drink more...keke~...

caLi bb turned 8 months today..how time flies..she's a very attitude baby..loves to scream at her grandparents..used her bumbo seat to lift herself up so that she can stand..yar..STAND..cannot walk and still want to stand..a clap for her..haha..

she's now learning how to open & close her fist..her fist actions were similar to the "Give it to me..or ByeBye"..nowadays..her favourite activities are pinching,screaming & yelling,crying "madly",humming melody and watching her favourite commercial..etc..she always trying to communicate with us using her own baby language..awww..loves it so much..

caLi bb loves french-kissing me..sticks out her tongue whenever i kissed her on her lips..=D..she scratched daddy's face & pinched me so hard till blue-black..Ooouccch..-_-....

went to People's Park this morning for breakfast & shopping at OG..bought her a set of Playskool Busy Balls(Terrific Textures)..she's more interested in balls than her barney..hahaa..probably have my genes..passion for netball..ball also..keke..it was a coincidence too cos m0mmy bought a rubber toy-with-spike which can actually light up when you shake vigorously..caLi bb enjoyed it but the smell to us was unacceptable..cute m0mmy washed it with Tollyjoy's liquid cleanser...t00 bad..the smell is still the same...hahaa..

hmmm..shall stop here..was completely worn out cos caLi bb often cried in the middle(due to nightmare i supposed..)..had to cuddle her and put her back to sleep all the time at night.. tata~

My bad..missed it again..i'd already left the blanket on the bed to prevent cALi bB fr0m falling...BUT..unfortunately..tragedy still t00k place...she fell & landed with a loud thud on her forehead..=((..

Cried...gr0aned in pain...

i did not know she would fall cos b0th of us were lying on the bed watching SCV programmes..i was just engrossed for 5 secs.....just 5secs...the thing i realised..she's hugging the floor..her f0rehead was bruised..tapped her lightly on her chest in order to soothe and calm her down..

immediately applied "Zam-Buk" on her forehead..redness faded..blue-black was formed after that..sms-ed miUmiU about caLi's fall..he replied in a real funny way.."serve her right...who ask her to be so naughty??.."..what a great daddy-one & only in the world..*giggles*..

ohh yar..lied her down at the mattress this m0rning cos i had to prepare for her bath...crawled carelessly & hit herself on her head..my dear...twice...how i wish i can have a another me to look after her & do other things at the same time...

caLi bb is such a glutton..can you imagine a 7months++ old baby could actually finished up a bowl/cup of chawanmushi??..she did..& still asking for more..what the....she has this "i-wana-drool-when-i-see-food face"...lol..she can even imagine herself munching something..!! Ichiban sushi is forever packed during evening..hate the long queue & space constraints...so small...>.<

had been feeling giddy the whole morning..sigh...i've been really really busy with caLi bb...she wakes up super early in the morning..wakes me up with her cries..had to repeat the daily routines..sterilize her milk bottles..refill hot water..bathe her...feed her..cuddle her..play with her..so on and so forth..sometimes i don't even have time for toilet breaks..but can spare a little..just a little time for RC..kekeke....

been having spine-aches for a week..excruciating pain..on & off..so young & so many problems starting to arise..g00dness me..

well well well..today is my 23rd birthday..祝我生日快乐..=D

miUmiU wasn't able to celebrate with me therefore "compensate" me with 99 roses & my favourite cake from Bakerzin on the 11th May at 2030hrs...in fact it was a surprise..miUmiU always prefer to buy me stuffs that are realistic and useful..he always feels that roses are not realistic cos they will wither..true wor..But But But..i will definitely keep those withered roses in a bottle..it was a huge bouquet i had ever received..& it's heavy t00..almost dropped tears..it was just not the usual him..i usually hit the bull's eye on so-called surprise preparations he made..i did guessed correctly f0r that cake..definitely NOT the roses..lolx..*hearts*

met up with my bestie Jojo at Yishun MRT..br0ught caLi bb along too..it was my first attempt...g0sh..it was so tiring..weather's kinda of weird though..we headed to Sakae beside PS for our brunch..ate & chit-chatted for almost 2 hours..walked our way to Orchard..it was so h0t & sunny...almost melted..keke..caLi bb was enjoying her day by yelling and smiling with strangers..i was s0urcing a waist pouch f0r miUmiU c0s he always have problem zipping up his JPg pouch..f0und it..b0ught it & off to the fountain at taka f0r an0ther hour of chatting..b0th of us chatted like there's no tomorrow..What the..haha...simply enjoyed every moment spent with J0j0..>.<

this is the also the first time caLi bb spent my birthday with me..in fact that's the bestest & sweetest present ever(besides miUmiU's)...

today also marked the first anniversary of the SiChuan earthquake..It was heart-wrenching & devastating to reminisce..hmmm..just hope that our world would be free from disaster..*fingers-crossed*

I would like to wish every MTB, Mummies & Grannies a Happie Mummies' Dae!!! This is officially the first year I become a "real" m0mmy...keke..Had a little celebration with my in-laws & my family at Yan Palace restaurant this morning for Dim Sum..hearts the egg tarts..yumyum =d...it was a rainy sunday m0rning..we reached Yan Palace at 0945hrs & saw a long queue..luckily miUmiU made a reservation e day before..everyone dashed in as if there were free gifts once they started business exactly at 1000hrs..so uncool right?..lol..after the bill, the waitress gave ONLY ONE red carnation..miUmiU asked for another 2 more but the waitress stated that only ONE will be given for per table.. -_-"..nvm..b0th m0mmies asked me to keep the carnation..lol..headed back home cos miUmiU needed to work at 1300hrs..b0ring..b000..but what to do right??..just a few hours...HOPEFULLY...

As usual..it was Davilia m0mmy who msn-ed me last friday about the Mothers' Day photoshoot at The Studio Loft..I was indecisive then cause miUmiU's unable to join us..After much persuasion, I decided to go with it..called Maryann but she did not answered & thankfully she was Davilia's friend..Davilia msn-ed her to "squeeze" us in on Monday's m0rning slot..Maryann replied & confirmed my timing..*grins*..it was a wet m0rning..did not bring along the stroller cos it's rather huge & very inconvenient to push around(as some places are very narrow)..caLi bb did not really smile on every pictures taken..It was not her usual self...cos she's always very bubbly in front of camera..probably she woke up too early that day...TSL organized a small contest whereby the photographer took our pictures and edited them into a magazine cover & will be voted on TSL's blog(i guessed or maybe Maryann's blog)..read from the forum that the Mothers' Day package was overwhelming..Indeed..i felt that it was quite cheap..The package is $50 for 4 photos(edited)..additional photos will cost $10 each..i took all the photos at $250 with 85 photos taken...cheap right??..lol..i remembered my own personal portfolio cost almost 1K...only 20 photos BUT all edited....i think i cannot compare cos what i received from TSL was softcopy whereas The MakeoverInc. developed my photos into an album & A4 size for me to hang on the wall..Anyway back on track again...the 3 of us took together too..but for the contest..Maryann chose only caLi & me for the magazine cover...I thought she would choose the 3 of us for the cover..=/

caLi bb fell ill last week cause her precious daddy passed the germs to her...she had a fever, sore throat, cough & blocked nose...took her on tuesday m0rning to see doctor at the Silver Cross..it was such a long queue..she wasn't able to sleep soundly the night before..fell asleep while waiting for her queue..After consultation, Dr. Daniel diagnosed that it was a throat infection & also might be she's teething(which cause the fever)..oh yar..Dr. Daniel measured her weight & praised m0mmy as she certainly knows how to take g00d care & feed her well & healthily(thanks m0mmy c0s you are definitely the best m0mmy ever!!)..As caLi bb was b0rned pre-term...she's weighed exactly 8KG..Dr. Daniel said that usually if you want to know the estimated weight of your child when he/she turns 1 yrs old, e calculation is three times the weight at birth.(E.g. Cali's weight at birth was 2.3kg so when she turns 1 it shall be roughly around 7.9Kg)..He was amazed cali bb's growing well despite being borned pre-term....Fed her with the medicine & i thought she might recover after a few dosage..BUT i was wrong!!...her fever subsided initially & came back again in the evening...On & Off...*sigh*..therefore..continue to feed her with the medicine & monitor her throughout..the fever only subsided after 2 days...phewww...really thanks to miUmiU...lol..shall update daily when i am free...=DD..

hmmm..though my entry were quite late but i will try my best to recall everything i could during cALi bb's turning 6 months old..as i mentioned earlier...caLi bb detests being lie down on her bed..she's very active too..she will always cry out for me & m0mmy...keke..i love tt feeling..i tried putting her to sit on her own..initially she l00ked like humpty dumpty...after a few attempts, she did it..without any support...=D..she still unable to crawl yet able to "spin" by herself on the floor..l0ves to put almost everything in her mouth to gnaw..be it plastic bags..remote controls...as long as the things are within her vicinity..she will try her best to grab & of course..put into her mouth..lolx..this is the crucial month for her cause it's the best time to introduce her solid food..also known as WEANING..brought the Heinz Pumpkin Corn Puree from Kiddy Palace to let her try the taste..to my surprise..she loves it..finished every single scoop..b0ught other flavours but she rejected all..haha..m0mmy helped me to prepare pumpkin porridge for her..of course not daily..if not she will feel very bored..m0mmy also prepared dried scallop porridge for her...she always tried to v0mit when being fed..lol..i felt that there's a strong smell in dried scallop & that would probably be the reason why she sort of rejected it...She's able to recognize familiar faces..will cried out loud if m0mmy or me not by her side or went out without her...awww..m0mmy always bring her out to the playground on her tricycle..daddy was really very creative 'cause he actually made a safety belt for caLi bb!!!...how ingenious my daddy is..hehe..cant really left her alone ever since that incident..fell off my bed..as she really can flipped & flipped over & over...it's really dangerous to leave her unattended...oh yar..she began to blabber "paaaaa" (aka as fish in thai)...."ah maaaaa"(definitely not referring to me..is my m0mmy!!)...she was not teething like other babies did now...soooo...was it a g00d sign or bad??...she l0ves being called "xuan" instead of Calista..she will always responded when being called "xuan"..she also loves to hear me sing lullaby to her...especially ABCs & Barney's I Love You..will giggled happily...she enjoyed watching Channel [V]'s 我愛黑澀會 with me..guess she loves the song sung by the "Hey Girls".will sit upright & quietly watching the show..h0w sweet isn't it??..kekeke..whenever she feels full after milk..she will pushed her bottle away from her mouth...look at how naughty she has become..lol....br0ught cALi bb to Genting & KL on the 10th of April...it was her first time in overseas..did took some pictures..however she lost her voice when we came back to singapore..must be due to the sudden change of weather at M'sia..It was almost raining every evening & lasted for hours..p00r caLi bb..probably could not adapt to the sudden change of weather..Her pinching can cause you to jump up..it was really painful..have no idea why she always does that..s0bz....i guessed that's all for what i can really recap for now...recently i have STM(short-term memory)...really cannot remembered what i did days ag0 & even hours ag0...that's really bad...hahaha...=X

Tried to lie caLista on e fl00r to see whether if she's able to crawl..haha...was kind of worried that she might bang her head hard on the fl00r..but luckily..NOPE...phewww..she did not crawl but "spin"...haha...she turned 360 deg..she's learning how to shout..lol..taught her ABCs,123s & Naming your Body using flash cards since she was 2 m0nths oLD..she seemed enjoyed while learning..daDdy b0ught bB a new walker as e old 1 is spoilt.. she really l0ves it al0t..cos it has music & buttons to play with..she's now able to m0ve f0rward & s0metimes t0wards us...I've been very busy l00king after her as now she flips over & over...cannot leave her unattended!!...br0ught her back to wdls every weekends but she doesnt seems to like cos she will screamed & cried non-stop til my PIL surrendered bB to me..haha...MIL said bB's able to recognise people...had to assure them that it's not true if not it will break their hearts as they only see her thrice a week..
For e past few weeks e weather was really bad..it rained almost daily..had to let caLista wear m0re if n0t she wil catch a c0ld...It's really a ch0re l00king after her c0s s0metimes u will not know what she wants & cries frantically..n0wadays she sleeps lesser & LATE...she will get very frustrated when she did not find a suitable sleeping position..JUSt like mIUmiU...she p00-ed daily...is g00d rite??...hehe...caLista is very afraid of the DARK......needed s0me lighting so that she's able to sleep s0undly throughout the night without waking up for milk...she's an early bird...wakes up exactly at 0755hrs daily!!!...she will cry t0 wake every1 up... p00r us...hehehe...
br0ught her to bugis f0r phot0(stickErs)...had enjoyed unpleasantly cos caLista pulled my hair..puked her milk...cried angrily & pulled her caP off..she just cannot keep still...h0ly...but afterall e pics taken....g00d...scaNNed it on c0m but wasn't clear...

Calista's first chinese new year..B0ught her a dress @ kiDDy paLace..fiTTEd her well..another m0nth or so i guess she will be unable to wear it..well...as usual..she likes to lift herself up..cried bitterly when everyone ignored her...oh ya..she fell ill on e 1st day of cny...it's my fault..AGAIN...i'd a very bad c0ugh..th0ugh I did not carry her BUT i stil passed the virus to her..BAD mummy...was afraid if i send her to KKH, they would admit her..hence i searched online to see if there's any paediatrician available on e !st day of cny..gladly found 1 near my house...ch0ng panG-24hr. clinic..gave them a call and immediately rushed down..doc diagnosed bB & said it was just a mild infection and prescribed a bottle of medicine for bB's phlegm..guess how much it cost?...iT was $68!!!!!...yUpz..jus a bottle of syrup!!!! e c0nsultation fee was $60....but anyway it did not matter cos as long as bB's fine..i will feel safe & contented..

davilia muMMy msn-ed me & told me about the V day shots taken at TSL...br0ught her d0wn again...this time round..she did enjoyed herself..smiled alot during the photoshoots..*happy*...this was the bestest valentine's day gift i've ever had..
Introduced her to a walker given by xinrong's mummY...her feet weren't unable to touch the floor cos it's quite high for her...but she s0mehow managed to m0ve backwards...g00d start..

caLista is able to flip herself over & is trying to communicate with us using her baby language...she feels excited when seeing the colour RED...br0ught her to the studi0 l0ft at pag0da st. f0r a cnY ph0t0sh00t..it was her virGin masterpiece..hehe...really enjoyed seeing her taking the pS..she shrieked frantically when we left her on the small sofa...the reaction was stunned yet sweet...hEr visions are better than last time...was able to see her visualizing our m0vements...her sleeping pattern changes..h00ray...that's a g00d news for us...she wakes up 1 time in e middle of the night which is about 1am in the m0rning...& slept s0undly throughout the night after her milk..and ya...her hair is gr0wing slightly more...keke..

caLista is getting chuBBier & healthier each day...of cos..naughthier too...cries n0n st0p & loves people to cuddle her..very active all the time...she doesnt like to open her eyes while out in a sunny day...m0m said she need to learn to open her eyes if n0t it's n0t g00d for her eyes..m0m loves t0 bring her out to e market s0 that she's able to see al0t rather then staying at h0me l00king at the f0ur walls..h0wever...she always sleeps while we br0ught her t0 the market...waste 0ur eff0rts...lolx...0ccasionally will read st0ries t0 her...but was w0ndering if she does understands what i m trying to read to her..haha...she l0ves t0 hold e milk b0ttle while feeding her...(p.s. she did that when she was newb0rn!!)..amazing right!!!...i don't remember my bro doin that when he was a newb0rn....wahaha....she still loves to stretch & this time...with a r0botic s0und she made...l0ves to see her d0 that...will definitely know she's awake when she signalled us with her anklet...lol...

I did not take any pics of caLista's full m0nth..held two celebrations at Woodlands & Yishun..It was simply very tiring..It's obvious that bB's face is becoming rounder..sHe's able to follow the voices but visions were not clear at that moment..my parents br0ught her to hair salon for a shave..lol..she l00ked s0 ad0rable & definitely a l00k aLike y0ung bB...boY..lor..duH(c0s many MANY ppl c0mmented)...haha..shE dislikes water...my dad usually will lie her dwn in fr0nt of e TV & she will l00k ar0und figuring out where the s0und came fr0m..she l0ves t0 nap ar0und 7plus & wakes up exactly at 2200hrs...!! whiCh meant that we're n0t able to sleep at time...m0m will sleep first while I will be taking over to l00k after bB...it's very very tiring...s0metimes she will grin...l0ves to see her dimples...*hearts*..i dunno why i love to hear her whinned...lol..she c0ntinued to drink e f0rmula...juS a day before she turned 2m0nths 0ld...she fell ill due to meEee...yes..me..i passed the germs to her...she developed fever & phglems....I was worried sick cos she wasnt able to sleep at night...she cried all night...decided to bring her to KKH for checkup..th0ught they will prescribed medicine but n0pe cos she's too y0ung to take medicine...e paediatrician was afraid the bacteria might affect her breathing so had to admit her...Tears filled my eyes sockets...My heart br0ke...Running wild thoughts on my mind...was so afraid they might use needle to prick through my bB's fragile hand...scAred s0mething might haPPened t0 caLista...kept bLamin myself f0r causing her illness...d0c diagnosed bB & gave her dr0ps f0r e phglem..iF she's rec0vering weLL fr0m e drops..she will be able to discharge the following day..*fingers cr0ssed*...miUmiU & i stayEd beside cAlista...he slpt throughout the night while I stayed awake ensuring bB's fine...iT's kinda tiring buT as her m0ther(who caused her to fall sick) this was the least I could do...bB had take bl00d tests t0 ensure that e germs were already lost in the battle...iT did & bB's g0ing h0me!!!....thIs is a big lesson f0r me to learn..stAy away from bB if aduLts are sick..c0s medicines are t00 strong for babies' b0dy...

baby caLista wasnt able to be discharged on the same day as me c0s Dr. Natalie felt that her neck was rather weak & was afraid in future if she did not undergo physiotherapy, problems will arise..i dreaded the feeling of staying at hospital so I was discharged on the 180908 during evening..pushed caLi bb back to the nursery..though her visuals were not clear but i could feel that she was l00king at us while we stood at the window looking at her...i felt sad & bad to leave her behind..Dr. Natalie promised me that CaLi bb will not be discharged on the next day(190908) unless everything seemed fine..i was praying hard that she will come back to me the next day...Finally..she came home..g0sh..she l00ked so frail & small..It really broke my heart..but i am very lucky to haf my m0m to l00k after her & managed everything all by herself & daDDy..also not forgetting a little help from miUmiU(he took a long leave to accompany me)..a really big thank you to the 3 of my bel0ved..She woke up almost 5 to 7 times at night to drink milk..was not able to breastfeed her due to heavy intake of gingers cos caLi bb might get jaundice if she was fed with breastmilk..It was really my bad & i still regretted up till now...e three of my bel0ved were completely exhausted while taking care of her during the night time..

Pregnancy til Birth

This blog is specially dedicated to my beloved daughter. I'd like to share the experiences I encountered during the day I was pregnant. Of course I will break down the months if not readers will doze off in no time..=)) It was rather humourous coz I did n0t know I was pregnant when I was w0rking at H81..I felt very sleepy when I was working night shift and I remembered the day vividly-it was 1sT daE cnY'08..was been tasked to pack milo & coffee into packets as there weren't any guests around..It was about 2am & i was feeling super duper sleepy..I actually doze off while packing..I felt strange cos I slept for more than 5 hrs during the day!!..2 days later I began to felt nauseous & giddy...b0ught a few pregnancy kit but it turned out negative...However the feeling gets stronger as each day passed by & soon it affected my work..I wasn't able to concentrate well during work so that day took an off..mUm bought me to see doc & was tested positive!!!..I was speechless & also sad cos I wasnt able to share this g00d news with my deceased grandma(as i believed she wished to see her great grand child)....anywAy back on track again...no doubt everyone in my family was elated & excited....weLL...e maiN topiCs..keke..

LABOR
It was a normal routine checkup & I told Dr. SF Loh that i could feel that my baby is trying to force her way out. Dr. Loh said that bB did not seem to be growing heavier inside my tummy so he advised me to be admitted on that day..It was about 1400hrs when I was admitted..The nurses & trainee gynaes were checking e opening of my cervix & was amazed that it was 4cm opened!!!..Initially they wanted to induce me..but luckily..hahaha...Was given some kind of medicine to clear my bowels...miUmiU went home to prepare my stuffs & I took a half hour nap..mY nap was disturbed as one of e doc is trying to prick my amniotic fluid..She did and e fluid just gushed out & it felt warm...There was this machine which placed on my tummy then was inserted into my V to check my bB's heartbeat..*pained*...Joyce the senior nurse asked if I wanted to have epidural taken to ease my pain..but i insisted n0t to as I promised my parents(was afraid of e side effects)..c0ntracti0ns seemed to get str0nger every 15 miNs..i couldnt bear any longer so miUmiU asked j0yce to let me breathed using e 0xygen...i diD but it DID NOT ease my pain...It was excruciating!!!.. at ab0ut 1730hrs..i decided t0 take e jaB...it did eased my pain....my k0reaN draMa was starting at 1800hrs..enjoyed the show for about 15mIns..miUmiU kepT pestering nuRse joyCe as whEn will my cervix be fully opened...nurse joyCe inserted her finger & said.."g0sh..you're 10cm opened!!!s00oo fast!!!..."she began to teach me e methods as how to push bB out & Dr. Loh was on his way..this pushing n breathing lasted for ab0ut 20 mins!!..nuRse joyCe said she saw bB's head.!..miUmiU saw that too & asked me to push harder...Dr. Loh arrived and in few mins..bB ger is oUt....pheWwww...what a relieve....n0 m0re pain...did not dare to look at what Dr. Loh was doing..suddenly..nurse j0yce passed me my bB to me & i shrieked.."arghhh..i dunno how to carry??.."lol.and I was trying(in fact learning how) to calm my bB as she was crying softy....gently....Dr. Lof was trying to remove the remaing placenta & stitched my w0unds up..& guessed what...i called my mum & told her I just delivered...She was so happy & cried & asked..thought my due time is 2200hrs??..haha..hahaha..that time I thought " Is this my bB??..".....whEn i saw her..she was trying to open her eyes..but managed to opened one as the other was rather sticky due to e amniotic fluid.shE was so0oo smaLL...nuRse joyce t00k bB's measurement but told me that it was late so they couldnt bath my bB...eeeEww..bB must had felt sticky...she quickly wrapped up bB & left her at erm...dunno wat is called...cot or something else..lolz...miUmiU was s0 happily video-ing bB...b0th Dr. Loh & nurSe j0yce c0ngratulated uS...
